Privacy Policy
Effective 30 July 2026
Who we are
DealSense is operated by Lignum Austri Ltd (“we”, “us”). Lignum Austri Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 16677207. This policy explains how we handle personal data on dealsense.asia. For privacy questions, contact hello@dealsense.uk.
What we collect
- Contact and scheduling data — when you book a walkthrough or email us: your name, email address, firm, and meeting details.
- Technical data — basic logs (IP address, browser type) collected by our hosting and security providers to keep the site available and secure.
- Client platform data — deal materials and CRM records that clients submit to the DealSense platform are processed under separate written agreements with those clients, which take precedence for that data.
How we use it
To respond to enquiries, schedule and run meetings, operate and secure the site, and improve our services. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Legal bases
We rely on legitimate interests (running and securing the site, responding to business enquiries), performance of a contract (client engagements), and consent where required.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, and security), Calendly (scheduling), and Microsoft 365 (email). The client platform additionally uses Amazon Web Services (hosting), Clerk (authentication), and Anthropic (AI document analysis). A current subprocessor list is available in our security packet on request.
International transfers
Where data leaves the UK, we rely on UK adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards such as the UK IDTA / standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Client platform data is retained per the relevant client agreement.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact hello@dealsense.uk; you can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Cookies and local storage
We keep this minimal: your theme preference is stored in your browser’s local storage; Cloudflare may set security cookies; the Calendly scheduler sets its own cookies when it loads. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
